Meet Natasha

Doctor of Chinese Medicine | AHPRA Registered Acupuncturist

BHSc (Acupuncture) - Distinction

Hi, I’m Natasha.

Before becoming an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner, I spent nine years working as a massage therapist in Melbourne. I loved helping people with pain and muscle tension, but I became increasingly interested in the connection between our physical health, our emotions, and the things we experience throughout our lives.

My own experience with acupuncture eventually led me to study Chinese medicine. I became fascinated by how differently Chinese medicine looks at health, taking into account the whole person and the many factors that can influence how we feel.

Instead of viewing symptoms as separate or isolated problems, it looks for the underlying patterns and imbalances that may be contributing to them.

It gave me a way of understanding many of the connections I had already begun noticing through my work and my own experiences.

Looking beyond the symptoms

When you come to see me, addressing the reason you've booked is important - whether that's pain, headaches, poor sleep, digestive issues, menstrual concerns, fertility, stress or something else.

But I also want to understand why you may be experiencing it.

In Chinese medicine, the same symptom can arise from very different underlying patterns in different people. That's why I take the time to look at the broader picture; your health history, sleep, digestion, energy, stress and emotional wellbeing, menstrual cycle where relevant, lifestyle, and other symptoms that may initially seem unrelated.

By identifying your individual Chinese medicine pattern, treatment can be tailored not only towards relieving symptoms, but also towards addressing the underlying factors that may be contributing to them.

That's one of the things I love most about Chinese medicine, we don't experience our health in separate pieces.

My approach

Because every treatment is completely individualised, your care might look a little different each time you visit. Depending on your needs, I draw from a mix of acupuncture, massage, cupping, moxibustion, or Chinese herbal medicine.

I also love equipping you with simple at-home acupressure techniques, alongside dietary and lifestyle guidance, so you can keep supporting your body between sessions.

I welcome people from all walks of life, treating a broad range of concerns.

I am particularly passionate about supporting:

  • Pain, muscle tension, and fatigue

  • Stress, sleep, digestive health and emotional wellbeing

  • Women’s health (including fertility, IVF, pregnancy, birth preparation & induction, perimenopause, menopause)

Above all, my goal is to ensure you feel deeply listened to, physically comfortable, and genuinely cared for from the moment you step into the room.
